Wilson and Gilkes have a conveyorised powder coating plant incorporating a six-stage pre-treatment process. This plant is one of the largest automated plants in Australasia, with apertures allowing parts up to 1000 x 1650 x 3000mm.

Pre-treatment is iron phosphate, which also offers some corrosion resistance on steel, or a heavy metal phosphate will provide the ideal preparation for aluminium and stainless steel. The oven is gas-fired convection, which is an extremely effective way to cure intricately shaped parts.

The plant is full stainless steel construction, to reduce the risk of contamination from the structure corroding. Wilson & Gilkes utilises the most advanced powder application techniques & equipment available and has the experience to maximise the benefits.
